Sections 2 & 3: Mitigate Instead of Mediate: Diet

Learn about the sedentary lifestyles that most Americans lead and how much and which types of exercise is best for each person. Explore energy intake and output as well as the important differences between macro- and micro-nutrients. 

Section 4: Healthy Eating

Understand healthy eating and how an eating plan helps manage weight and should include a variety of healthy foods.  Learn how to create a healthy eating plan.

Section 5: All About Sleep 

Learn the basics of sleep and health and how sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.
